Hello Friends 🙂
Well, it’s been quite a while since my last post, but I’m gonna attempt to get back into a rhythm. My wrist is still a work in progress but I’ve at least been able to start drawing and painting again.
This painting (which is actually on five separate canvases) was my first artistic attempt after the accident and I actually quite like it. I still had my cast on and did it entirely left-handed (I am usually right-handed). It was fun to experiment with spray paint and to outline the letters I used tape to block off the surrounding area.
This is how I decided to make use of the dresser drawer that I painted. Mini Garden! Since I know squat about gardening I’m pretty sure I planted all the wrong kinds of plants together, but they’ve been surviving alright so it’s served it’s purpose. I tried to make it look fun with a police chase and teacup houses. 😛
This is one that has been in progress for months. I’ve been using it as an outlet whenever I get frustrated with other pieces I’m working on. It has several layers underneath but this will be the final one. The only thing that needs to happen with it still is for the sky to be painted. I’m going to leave some areas gold to look like clouds.
This one is what I’m currently working on and will continue as soon as I make the trip to Opus to restock my white paint. I like triangles and character design. 😛
This was a little diy project I did for my hubby’s birthday. The hearts are origami and the pics are all of Dayton and I with Romeo. It’s crazy how much he’s grown in only a few months!
And this is one I did just the other night. This last weekend Dayton and I drove up to 100 Mile House for an impromptu getaway. It was super fun and the landscape is always so inspiring!
